What ist Ghost-Writing?
Ghost-writing is a specific type of writing, namely text production by another’s commission, in which the name of the author is not given. The ghost-writer writes in the name of the client, but remains, like a ghost, invisible.
In this process, we adapt ourselves to your style or the desired style and keep in mind all of your other content- and form-related specifications.
Why Commision a Ghost-Writer?
Unfortunately, the term ghost-writing has recently fallen more and more into disrepute because of the discussion about academic ghost-writing. The writing of academic papers, however, is a relatively small sector of this branch. All serious ghost-writers are strictly opposed to this form of ghost-writing.
Ghost-writers are most often hired in the advertising industry in particular. Here, they are also called copywriters or simply ad writers. These are specialised writers that are most familiar with advertising and marketing and are able to quickly put themselves in the shoes of the advertiser as well as the target audience.
Specialists and celebrities also often turn to ghost-writing. These people often have quite a lot to say, but usually not the time to polish their text down to the last comma. An experienced ghost-writer can be of valuable service here. Many autobiographies, non-fiction books and speeches come about this way.
